Do you have a ‘word of the year?’ I’m still working on mine. But when I was painting with my daughter during our homeschool time, this picture came that shows how I want to feel. Some words that are in the running: Power (from within and from God), Presence, Peace, Confidence, Courage, Believe. Be a light. Influence. Conduit.

I’m grateful to have my son home from his mission! There’s something about having all my children under one roof that is so right. I’m grateful that he served, how he grew and developed, and how he loves God and his fellow man. I’m grateful for the wonderful souls I get to raise and learn from. #givethanks
