Yesterday I had such an amazing two hours sitting in my front room visiting and planning with three other women who I barely know, but as we talked I was overcome with tears several times because I felt such familiarity with these women.
This experience brought the quote posted below to my mind. As searched for an image of it to post here, I found that most of the images quoting it ended with faith. Right now, for me personally, the courage is just as important as the faith. Elder Nelson has said: ‘it will not be popular to be faithful.’ I’m finding he is so right and I need the courage as much as I need the faith.
Little things like these two hours spent with beautiful, faithful, courageous women are tender mercies from a loving Heavenly Father. He sends me many. I am working on being more aware of and grateful for them.
I know many of you are going through tough times. Many of you I pray for by name often. I know God blesses His children by the prayers of His other children.
