- I can’t let this day go by without shouting out a great big happy birthday to my Luke!! This boy entered my world, physically at least, 14 years ago, but honestly, I felt him close to me many times before this day.
He has always been my sidekick, my adventure buddy, my deep conversationalist, my helper, and my joy.
He is also known as the peacekeeper, the chatty one and the nerdy one in our family—because he is so smart and absolutely addicted to Rubik’s cubes (his personal best is 15 seconds so far)!🤪
I’m honored and blessed to be his mother. I hope you have the best day buddy.

This experience brought the quote posted below to my mind. As searched for an image of it to post here, I found that most of the images quoting it ended with faith. Right now, for me personally, the courage is just as important as the faith. Elder Nelson has said: ‘it will not be popular to be faithful.’ I’m finding he is so right and I need the courage as much as I need the faith.
Little things like these two hours spent with beautiful, faithful, courageous women are tender mercies from a loving Heavenly Father. He sends me many. I am working on being more aware of and grateful for them.
I know many of you are going through tough times. Many of you I pray for by name often. I know God blesses His children by the prayers of His other children.
What tender mercies are you seeing in your lives?

It is a beautiful canvas of a picture of the tree line in our canyon and it says:
‘Into the mountains I go to loose my mind and find my soul.’
It’s sooooo true for me!!! I’m a mountain girl through and through no matter the time of year I’ve got to have my mountain fix—but I do prefer warmer seasons. 🤪
