What I really want, is a feeling of peace.

What do I do when I live in a chaotic world?
When I am desperately holding firm to the the last shred of control I feel I have?

Step back a bit.

Was I ever really in control?

of anything?

Was I ever in complete control of my job? or my education? or my marriage, or my children? (let alone my community and beyond?)

No, I wasn't.

So I let go of the last thread of "control" I think I have.

When I have the courage to let go, I am able to then Let God.

Father, you take it. I cannot. I am not strong enough. I never was.
You take care of it. It's in your hands. I am in your hands.
Show me my part. Show me my next step. Please use me for good and show me how. But beyond that, it is Yours.

Yes, It is possible to be in the eye of the storm...

To feel peaceful, with chaos swirling around me, and still be at peace.

But only when I have the courage to let go and Let God.
