Installation of plate heat exchanger:

The plate heat exchanger is determined by its structural characteristics, and its installation is more convenient and flexible. The following is a description of the matters needing attention in the assembly of the plate heat exchanger and the installation of the system. the

System installation using the unit:

The system installation of the user unit refers to the installation of the equipment sent by the manufacturer to the user unit or the equipment repaired by the user unit to the application station. This case should be done in the following order. 

  1. Put the equipment on the foundation and fix the anchor bolts. 
  2. Check whether the cold and hot medium inlet and outlet of the pipeline are consistent with the connection on the equipment. Considering the convenience of maintenance, it is best to use short joints when connecting the pipes and heat exchangers. 
  3. Thermometers and pressure gauges should be installed at the inlet and outlet of cold and hot media of the heat exchanger.

Precautions for heat exchanger parts assembly and equipment installation:

  1. Pay attention to the center of gravity of the equipment when hoisting. 
  2. When bonding the gasket to the gasket groove, it should be ensured that there are no sand, oil, iron filings, flux, and other sundries on the gasket and in the gasket groove of the plate, so as not to damage the seal and cause leakage. 
  3. When tightening the bolts, the force should be uniform, and the distance between the inner sides of the two compression plates should be continuously measured to ensure that the parallelism deviation between the two compression plates is not greater than 3mm. Clamp to the specified size and achieve the corresponding parallelism to avoid gasket compression. Misaligned or slipped out of the spacer slot. At the same time, check carefully while clamping to see if there is any misalignment of gaskets and plates. 
  4. Water is generally used as a liquid for hydraulic tests. The water temperature should not be lower than 5°C. The pressure should be raised slowly during the test. After the test is completed, loosen the compression nut appropriately, release the accumulated water, then tighten the nut again, and clamp it to the original size for use. 
  5. There should be a certain maintenance space around the heat exchanger, and its size is related to the size of the plate.
  6. The clamping bolts should be coated with butter, and if possible, a protective tube should be put on to avoid rust and damage to the thread. 
  7. If the maximum pressure at the outlet of the pump is greater than the maximum operating pressure of the equipment, a pressure-reducing valve and a safety valve must be installed at the inlet of the equipment. 
  8. When the equipment is filled with liquid and under pressure, it is not allowed to clamp the nut.

 

Normal operation and inspection:

  1. Always check all the sealing surfaces and welds of the heat exchanger, and observe whether there are abnormal phenomena such as leakage. If leakage is found, it should be marked on the leakage place in time, and it should be dealt with after shutting down. 
  2. Check the pressure gauge and thermometer regularly to see if there is any abnormal phenomenon.
  3. When parking, first slowly close the inlet valves of hot and cold media and then close the outlet valves of the two media. On the other hand, when starting up, first open the outlet valve, and then slowly open the inlet valve. 
  4. Periodically test the medium on the low-pressure side to prevent the medium from the high-pressure side from being mixed. If it is mixed, it means that there is an internal leakage, and it should be shut down for treatment. 

Shutdown operation and precautions:

  1. Before stopping the pump, the pump must be stopped and the power supply cut off.
  2. After stopping the pump, first slowly close the hot medium inlet valve, and then close the cold medium inlet valve. Finally, close the outlet valves of the two media. 
  3. If there is a vent valve on the pipeline, it should be opened. 
  4. For a medium with high temperature and corrosive medium, the equipment should be emptied as much as possible to avoid scalding and corrosion of equipment when opening the equipment.
