Here are two great movies that teach us how to have the attributes of Jesus Christ during the most difficult of times.

The Hiding Place and The Return to the Hiding Place.

The ten Boom family are great examples of having Christlike attributes.
The two that really stood out to me are, Patience and Humility.

While living during the time of WWII the ten Boom family helped many Jews escape the Nazis. While doing this, they put themselves in great danger and were eventually caught and sent off to the prison camps. Casper ten Boom, the father, was 100 years old when he was taken, along with his two daughters, Corrie and Betsie. While in the camps they showed amazing patience with the circumstances that they had been placed in and also great humility. Gratitude is a prerequisite for humility, and at one point in the Hiding Place, Betsie talks about being grateful for the fleas in the building where they were living. They taught others about Christ and how He came to this world to save us and that in turn gave others hope.
It is very humbling to watch these movies and learn from great people how to have Christlike attributes during very troubling times. It really makes one think about our own lives and especially with what is going on in our world today and what is yet to come.
