- I just met a lady from Ogden who was arrested for not wearing a mask while shopping at Natural Grocers. Police said she was trespassing. There are many things wrong with this, the police broke the law and must be held accountable.
She said her 2.5 stay day at the jail gave her nightmares. Feces, urine, and spit everywhere. Bright lights all night. 55 degrees at night, people crying out and screaming they didn't have blankets. ETC.
She asked me for resources since she wants recompense for what happened to her, and she doesn't have $$$ for an attorney.
I told her always present herself, for many reasons, not the least of which is because using an attorney tells the system admins that you a ward of the state. I gave her Alfonse Faggiolo's new website, as he is doing his best to help a lot of people for free just like her. There are a lot of documents on his site as examples of what to file with the courts.
