  • * Utah residents who support Natalie Cline on the state school board *
    Your voice is needed!
Natalie has come under attack for being a voice against CRT and LGBT training in schools. (Not against people who are non-white or LGBT, just the training in schools).
The state board will be inundated with calls and emails today (2/1) as well as a petition that had been started to remove her from office.
If you support Natalie Cline's voice of transparency (she shares copies of the training for parents to see, and decide for themselves if they support it), and voice of diversity (it's ok to disagree, but opposing voices should be heard) - PLEASE take a moment to express your support to the Utah State School Board!

  • A sweet friend shared this with me. I gained an improved perspective as I try to sift through ideas, opinions, theories, and reports. I hope this video helps others who feel lost, betrayed, deceived, confused, or otherwise discouraged while seeking for answers amid temporal confusion.

  • While singing to my children at bedtime last night, I was drawn to this song: "Redeemer of Israel".
May you find peace in His gathering, humility in the price He has paid, and hope in His redemption.
"Fear not, and be just, for the kingdom is ours. The hour of redemption is near."

  • Today I #GiveThanks for the days I am home with all my children. You see, some of my children are homeschooled and some participate in a wonderful charter school. Periodically, the charter school has implemented distance learning - which allows me to see and participate in everyone's education. It fills my heart to learn together, see struggles persevered, and competencies expand.

  • I read this tonight and found it fitting especially now, especially to the people gathered here - striving to be Heroes.

"The plan designed by the Father contemplates that man and woman, husband and wife, working together, fit each child individually with a shield of faith made to buckle on so firmly that it can neither be pulled off nor penetrated by those fiery darts.

It takes the steady strength of a father to hammer out the metal of it and the tender hands of a mother to polish and fit it on. Sometimes one parent is left to do it alone. It is difficult, but it can be done.

In the Church we can teach about the materials from which a shield of faith is made: reverence, courage, chastity, repentance, forgiveness, compassion. In church we can learn how to assemble and fit them together. But the actual making of and fitting on of the shield of faith belongs in the family circle. Otherwise it may loosen and come off in a crisis."
-Boyd K Packer, "The Shield of Faith," 1995
