I've always been a patriot as far back as I can remember. Dad was in the Army and we were privy to military parades and other on base activities as a youngster. He retired when I was maybe 13 and we settled down in Atlanta, GA near Fort McPherson. That's all I've got to say about that. I'm eligible to retire in the next year or 2 and am looking forward to that and what I can do with my time instead. Have a grown daughter and about to adopt a 2 year old cat; the covid isolation has made me somewhat desperate for some company. I like getting outside and some fresh air, meeting people and having conversations. Will be glad when we can take the covid diaper off. I only wear it when entering buildings around other people. I've had the flu once in 1985, I got it working at the airport, was around a lot of people driving a 16 passenger shuttle van. Now am an Inspector for public works water/sewer department. Favorite part of my job is figuring out property owner complaints, especially when it pertains to stormwater damage. Never got into learning politics until 12 years ago. Always believed that the government was employed by mostly descent people, until my awakening that is. Now, I'm learning more and discovering what can I do to make it better.
