  • So interesting. Reading Helaman 8 today I found an interesting connection to what’s happening today.
The judges (their government) were wicked. Nephi was speaking against their wrongs and wickedness. The judges did not dare attack Nephi directly for “fear of the people”. They were worried the people might see that what Nephi was saying was true and then come against them.
So what did they do instead? They did “stir up the people” to anger and contention against Nephi. They discredit what he says and call him wicked.
Then the people “were compelled because of their FEAR” and they seek to destroy Nephi.
Their leaders manipulate the people to put down the truth and cause such fear, anger and contention among the people that they are blinded to the truth and they seek to destroy those who speak out against their wicked leaders.
Hmmmm. 馃 something to consider for our time.

  • I have homeschooled for over 15 years and this approach has totally shifted my paradigm. A shift from what education we want, to what education God would like us to have. I would recommend taking the time to watch this and feel the difference this type of education would have on the spirituality of our children.

  • I’m grateful today for our new ward and neighbors. Moving is difficult. It’s been especially difficult this time for us leaving behind an amazing ward and wonderful neighbors and friends. But we have been so welcomed here. We’ve had people stop by almost every day to greet us. We had tons of help show up to unload our trailers. The neighbors have sent their kids over to meet mine. We even made unexpected connections with some neighbors. And today when we attended our ward for the first time we were welcomed with open arms. I am so thankful that no matter where we go we can find brothers and sisters in the gospel of Jesus Christ. 馃挄

  • This video is essential to watch. We need our children to understand all these principles and to defend, fight for and vote for. Freedom and life. Thanks EmmaSarah McMillion for the recommendation.

My gratitude today is for my dear in laws. They came up to help us sort through our mess after our move. We accomplished a lot today with their help. Hair cuts, doggie bath, car port clean up, organized the storage room and cleaned up the garden. I’m so grateful and blessed to be part of the Hansen family. 馃挄
